JOB VACANCIES POSITION: Senior Laboratory Analyst (REF: CMO/2009/001)
LOCATION: Bonny Island

JOBS DISCRIPTION:
The applicant will be required to fulfill all duties associated with management, coordination and oversight of the medical laboratory diagnostic services to support patient care and occupational health monitoring in a cost effective, safe and reliable way in Nigeria LNG.

JOBS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate, manage and provide oversight of all laboratory services as well as maintain up to date inventory of supplies for the laboratory

  • Implement and ensure standardization of Laboratory equipment in Nigeria LNG

  • Interact with physicians, nurses, other care-givers and staff to ensure proper collection and handling of all specimens and responsible for the implementation of internal and external quality assurance programmes

  • Undertake investigation of machine failure, collect data and prepare reports on incidents of treatment in Nigeria LNG


JOBS QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent in Biological Science degree obtained at a minimum of Second Class Upper Division

  • Must be an Associate or Fellow of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AIMLS or FIMLS)
