• Review designs, EIAs, perform quality, safety and risk assessments of all works within the group and advise management on key issues


• Carry out regular audits of all ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to environmental health safety standards and the elimination of all unsafe conditions and practices by contractors


• Keep management informed of the status of key aspects of the works, investigate all incidents and render timely reports with recommendations for the prevention of future occurrence and prepare EHS updates

For individuals who will have not more than 3 years relevant experience as operations or wellsite geologist, mud logger or petrophysical logging/interpretation.

You will be required to perform the following tasks amongst others in the jobs:

• Wellsite daily geological reporting including litho logical description of drilled samples


• Daily summery report of previous 24 hours drilling progress and any pertinent comments relating to the progress of the wellsites


• Onsite transfer of any drilling and geological data with above in a comprehensive manner/reports in ANS Energy Services


• Onsite supervision of logging and coring programmes identification and transfer to the base officer or any analytical facility

Required qualification/skills in the job vacancies

• Have B.Sc in Geology or other Geosciences’ degree and must obtain a minimum of 2.2 in field


• Not more than 3 years relevant experience as a Geologist gained in the oil and gas industry and wiliness to travel at very short notice within and outside the country


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical/interpersonal skills will be required to work in ANS Energy Services
