Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment for the post of Registrar in Bayero University, Kano State.
DUTIES OF THE REGISTRAR IN BAYERO UNIVERSITY
The Registrar, a principal Officer, is the Chief Administrative Officer of the BAYERO UNIVERSITY, responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the BAYERO UNIVERSITY except as regard matters of finance for which the Bursar is responsible. The person holding Office of Registrar shall, by virtue of that office, be Secretary to the Council, the Senate, Congregation and Convocation in the BAYERO UNIVERSITY.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Candidates should be graduates with a good honors degree from a reorganized University. Possession of postgraduate qualification and membership of professional bodies would be an added advantage in BAYERO UNIVERSITY. Candidate must have at least 5 years administrative experience and from the Level of Deputy Registrar in a University or its equivalent in a comparable organization. Candidate must be 55 years or on appointment and must be information and Communication Technology (IT) compliant, Command respect and have the ability to provide leadership and offer appropriate advise on matters affecting BAYERO UNIVERSITY.
JOB SALARY
The successful candidate will be entitled to the salary and other conditions of service applicable to a Registrar in a Federal University.
