ZONAL MANAGER JOB VACANCY-FAMILY HEALTH INTRNATIONAL (FHI)

Family Health International is in collaboration with national governments, local communities and leading research institutions. Family Health International delivers services and conducts research in HIV/AIDS, other infectious diseases and reproductive health to improve the lives and well-being of some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. In our country, Family Health International is engaged in providing public health services and undertaking researches in HIV/AIDS, TB and reproductive health, in partnership with the government of Nigeria to strengthen Family Health International’s operations in the country Family Health International, seeks to employ qualified candidate for the above job vacancy.

Position Description : Zonal Manageris part of the senior management team for FHI, in a decentralized country management structure and forms part of the strategic team that directs the overall operations of Family Health International.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate Family Health International activities in the zone

  • Lead program planning, design, review and monitoring of programs at the zonal level

  • Provide overall supervision for FHI zonal field Office staff, serve as point of contacts, coordinate and collaborate with all public sectors and NGO partners in the zone

  • Technical assistance from the country Office staff, provide programmatic/technical assistance to all local FHI partners in the design, implementation, modification, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities

  • Review reports submitted by all collaborating partners at the field Office level and prepare monthly status reports



Minimum Requirements

  • Masters degree in public health, Sciences or behavioral Sciences with at least 2-3 years working experience in managing programs at the community level

  • Bachelors degree with additional experience will be considered

  • At least 3 years experience in HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at the community level
