The World Bank office in Abuja,Nigeria seeks applications for the position of Procurement Consultants.The Consultant is a member of the Country Office Staff recruited locally and based in Abuja,Nigeria.For day-to-day assignments and responsibilities,He/She reports to the Lead Procurement specialist based in Abuja,Nigeria.

Job Location:Abuja,Nigeria

Job Duration:One year (renewable) Extended Term Consultant(CTC).

Job Responsibilities:

Support the World Bank operation team in prior reviewing contracts.

In consultation with the World Banks procurement team be required to provide to the Task Team Leaders on how to resolve difficult issues under bank financed projects in Nigeria.

Be required to participate ii supervision missions and will be required to provide input to the joint supervision mission by conducting in-depth review of the procurement operations.

Job Requirements:

A holder of a Master Degree with major in a relevant discipline (e.g Engineering,Law,Finance,Business,or Commerce).

5 years direct job Experience in Procurement,Good knowledge of all concepts,Principles and approaches in the job.Strong communication skills and persuasiveness in presenting,negotiating and resolving complex issues.
